Poem: A Star in the night sky

Darkness surrounds me 

as twilight turns into late night.

Even then, time stands still.

You're not here. 

I walk

Not knowing where to go.

Not knowing how to get there.

Lost.

Then you,

out of nowhere walked in my life.

shinning your light,

leading the way.

A star in the night sky,

giving me purpose,

giving me life...

Hope.

Your light shines,

filling me with warmth.

Embracing me with love.

I've found my place.

I've found my home. 

Poem: Ephoria

Euphoria

My heart races,
as his eyes lock with mine.
The feeling is euphoric,
you can't really deny.

The warmth of his body
as his hand reaches mine,
erases all the bad memories,
they're left behind.

And I gasp,
as the air leaves my lungs
and my body trembles
against your presence.

And it's that on one,
no one ever has cared
no one ever has stayed
no one ever has loved...
Me

But you do.
And the euphoria continues
as we go through life,
Unnoticed.

Like a mirage.
Like a dream.
No one knows...
There's no need to.
