Vanished

Fast,

Like lightning

Flashing through your eyes. 

Taking pictures of 

Every moment. 

Taking life in a second. 

That was our love,

Brief, restless. 

Taking me by surprise. 

Sadly, as fast as it came,

It went. 

Leaving me broken,

Helpless. 

Every single moment wasted. 

Every single text misled. 

I wasn’t enough for you. 

You moved... fast... unsteady. 

Taking every step, deep,

Heavy. 

Making every second a month, 

Making every breath a year. 

And just like that

You left me. 

No notice, no warning. 

Just took I wanted

Threw it out the window. 

I finally thought 

It was it. 

My moment, my time. 

You vanished, 

Taking with you

My hope.
